With an academic and professional background of more than 30 years, and relevant qualifications obtained in the United Kingdom, Nigeria and South Africa.

Academic qualifications include: (1) a PhD degree from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom, (2) Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery {MBCHB}, (3) Master of Public Health {MPH}, (4) Master of Business Administration {MBA}, (5) Master of Commerce [Economics] {MCom Econs} and (6) Bachelor of Science Hons {Health Sciences}.

Professional training and qualifications include completion of the medical specialist (residency) training in Public Health (Fellowship of the Medical College in Public Health) {FMCPH} and Community Health (Part 1 Fellowship West African Postgraduate Medical College).

Worked for more than 30 years as an academic faculty in several universities, primary health care departments / ministries of health, the pharmaceutical industry and the private healthcare sector in several parts of the world including Africa, the United Kingdom and West Indies.

Research interests are diverse and include Health Economics, Health Policy & Management, Research Methods, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Global Health and General Public Health.

Academic and professional experience integrates public health, medicine, economics and business administration with a focus on healthcare.
